Remembering us in your Will
A will is probably the most important document you will sign in your life, and so we strongly recommend that you seek professional legal advice. If you have not made a will, you will need to find a solicitor to take you through the process and write one with you. It can cost as little as £40 to make a simple will. If you have already made a will, it can be altered at any time by adding a signed alteration called a codicil. Please contact your solicitor for further information on how to do this. You will need to take your solicitor details of our name and address.
How to leave a legacy:
There are two main ways of leaving a legacy:
1. Residuary legacy - a share of the remainder of your estate after all other payments have been met and legacies have been made.
2. Pecuniary legacy - a fixed amount of money specified in your will
Suggested wording:
'I bequeath to Artlink Central of the Cowane Centre, Cowane Street, Stirling FK8 1JP the sum of £_________ (for a pecuniary bequest), or the residue of my estate (for a residuary bequest) to be used by Artlink Central at its discretion'.
Alternatively, you can pledge a donation through the Will to Charity website, where you can find us under the Cultural and Arts or Disability categories.
If you would like to help without leaving a gift to Artlink Central, you can specify in your will that anyone who wishes to make a donation in your memory should make it to Artlink Central
