Lot 15. Helen J Houston: 'Black Shed Reflection'

Helen J Houston trained at George Street School of Art, Dumfries, completing a Diploma in Art. After leaving art school she trained as a ranger for several years before returning to her roots, completing an HNC in Art and Photography prior to setting up her own gallery at Kinninghill, Lockerbie. A self-employed artist and crafts person, Helen works mainly with recycled materials and her mainstay is photography. She specialises in driftwood mirrors and blackboards, 100% recycled wool cushions; and her own range of coloured textural photographs. Helen exhibited recently at Threve Castle, Castle Douglas and regularly exhibits with 3D 2D Art and Design Craft Fairs across Scotland.
