Lot 25. Rowena Laing: 'Auchmithie'

Rowena Laing graduated from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art, Dundee. She then worked as a Graphic Designer in London, Dundee and Glasgow. As a partner in J&R Laing, Design Associates, she worked primarily on interior design projects. Rowena now paints full-time, much of her current work finding its inspiration from the time spent in the Stirlingshire countryside as well as from Scotland’s east coast where she grew up, as depicted in the painting on offer. Her work also hangs in private collections all over Europe and the United States.
