Lot 26. Susan Eaton: 'Body'

Susan Eaton graduated from Glasgow School of Art with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Fine Art, drawing and painting in 1997. Speaking of her work she says, “Working from sketches, photographs and my imagination I produce paintings, which explore and question my identity. In my work I strive to strike a balance between the photographic and the painterly, drawing together elements of both mediums, which most excite me”. Susan has exhibited extensively across the country in the Compass gallery, Glasgow, the National Portrait Gallery, London and the Attendi Gallery, London. Susan has also exhibited in many solo exhibitions including the Fotheringham Gallery, Stirling and House for an Art lover, Glasgow.
