Lot 6. Will MacLean: Dancers from the series 'A Night of Islands'

A Scottish artist from Inverness, Will McLean has donated an enigmatic etching that reflects his evocative collages where he uses found objects from the sea, mythology and reminiscence, often combining to resemble ambiguous votive icons. We are grateful for the unreserved support of this internationally acclaimed artist. As Professor of Fine Art, University of Dundee, Will McLean has work in collections of the British Art Council, the British Museum, and the Gallery of Modern Art, amongst many other venues.
