Barbara Rae is a supreme colourist who derives inspiration from her journeys far and wide, from the Highlands of Scotland to exotic South African coasts. Her style is abstract, with the use of strong colours and a range of materials. She is one in a long line of eminent Scottish artists, like Sir William Gillies, under whom she studied. Her long established and distinguished career is recognised by museums as well as public and private collections. We are extremely grateful for her generous and continuing support, and are glad to have this opportunity to offer particularly desirable and sought after images. To see more of Barbara Rae's work, visit the Tom Caldwell gallery. |
