Lot 29: Stephen Carruthers - 'Jackton Clouds'

Stephen Carruthers studied at Glasgow School of Art from 1979 to 1983 after which he became a regular exhibitor at Annual and Group Shows in Glasgow, Edinburgh and in London. Selected Exhibitions include Thompson's The City 2001-2003; Dundas St Gallery, Edinburgh 2000; Olympia Art Fair 2000; Chelsea Art Fair 1999; Glasgow Art Fair 1999; and numerous more including the Stenton Gallery 1998. He is a Professional Member of Paisley Art Institute and of the VAS, and is currently the Vice-President. Stephen has been awarded some prestigious accolades including the Scottish Arts Club Award for Painting, the Mabel MacKinlay Award for Painting and the JD Kelly Award.
