whaT WE DO

Designing participatory and socially engaged arts and cultural projects in partnership with public sector policy bodies, community stakeholders and other voluntary sector partners, for delivery to client groups. We work with professional artists, public services and bodies, volunteers and communities to offer creative opportunities that are innovative and outcomes focused.

Innovation through creative service design

Artlink Central understands the needs of the users of public services and the future needs of those services in continuing to deliver. We offer alternative and relevant opportunities to meet those needs creatively. This includes a range of people and place based services including contracts to support public art and live programmes in hospitals to social prescription services for people in recovery from mental health issues to individual contracts to provide self-directed support.

We offer services that support people to access social arts opportunities in their community and we support the involvement of communities of people to positively  influence and retrofit the settings and environments they use on a regular basis, from hospital units to prison settings to enhance wellbeing.

We want everyone to be able to enjoy the rich cultural opportunities on their doorstep. This is why we work in partnership with many local creative partnerships, either encouraging access to professional and community arts venues and spaces or by bring cultural opportunity to public spaces and settings, from shopping centres to Stirling Castle. We coordinate and participate in national arts programmes and festivals that highlight arts in relation to access.

We support talented people who face barriers to learning and development the individual and collectiv support they need to express themselves with support from professional artists, environments and processes.
