Waiting Together

On behalf of NHS Forth Valley, Artlink Central supported the development and delivery of a Children and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) commission project to improve waiting and welcome areas for the service. The project took a participatory co-produced approach. £10,000 was secured to develop artwork across various sites, with a key focus on Stirling Community Hospital and smaller, temporary artwork in The Manor, in Camelon.

Artist Robyn Woolston delivered the research and development phase of the project in Spring 2022, including various in-person audience engagement sessions working with CAMHS staff and patients across both sites.

Design, production and installation of the artwork were completed across both sites, including the installation of custom-made blinds in 2022/23.

We organised a small launch at the end of April 2023, attended by some of the young artists whose work is featured within the mural artwork.
