Seating and Placemaking Designer
Artlink Central, appointed by Stirling Council, is seeking a designer to develop a shared approach to seating and small-scale placemaking across three Stirling neighbourhood public spaces, as part of the Place Based Investment Programme (PBIP).
This is a single cross-site commission covering Borestone/Morrison Drive, Raploch Village Square, and Darnley Park. The appointed designer will develop a baseline seating and placemaking approach across all three sites; design benches, picnic seating, and circular or amphitheatre seating where appropriate; and ensure inclusive, intergenerational, and dementia-friendly design principles throughout.
This commission forms part of a wider programme delivering coordinated improvements across three Stirling public spaces, with an overall capital budget of approximately £350,000.
